If you're looking for a Chinese reality show to kill time, you could do a lot worse than China's Got Talent. But actually, the show is also fairly useful as a way of studying Chinese language and culture. Since the hosts speak fairly standard Mandarin, none of the pronunciation should be too difficult to understand. And since the show goes into some detail about participants backgrounds, you'll hear descriptions of regular people's lives in China, which is always useful from both a linguistic and cultural perspective.
